Dear Cheyenne River Lakota Oyate Family, please note the following obituary notice with heartfelt consideration: Baby Boy Kingston Allen Pederson, stillborn infant, entered the Spirit World on Sunday, April 27, 2020 at the Cheyenne River Health Center at Eagle Butte, SD The baby is survived by his mother and father, Cody and Delonnie Pederson of Eagle Butte. One brother, Charlie Martinez, of Rapid City; four sisters, Deneikah Pederson, Jaliyah Clifford of Rapid City, SD, Sincere Pederson and Sindairius Pederson of Cherry Creek, SD. Paternal Grandmother, Opal Morrison of Cherry Creek and Paternal Grandfather, Dennis Wounded Head of Pine Ridge. In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for mortuary care, a private family funeral procession will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 6, at Rooks Funeral Home, Eagle Butte, SD. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Cherry Creek, SD. Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte.
