Cante Dowan s’a Katrell Fast Dog, 2 year old child, entered the Spirit World, Sunday, July 8 at his residence at Okreek, SD. He is survived by his parents, Sage Fast Dog, Sr. and Krista White of Okreek; two brothers: Sage Fast Dog, Jr. and Wacinyapi Fast Dog of Okreek. Maternal Grandmother: Alvina White of Spirit Lake, ND. Paternal Grandparents: Lillian Fast Dog of Soldier Creek, SD and Clifford Broken Leg of Parmalee, SD. Other survivors include: Hunka Parents, Bobbi & Brandi Bearheels. Hunka brothers & sisters: Tre, King, Spencer, and Maliesha. Grandmothers: Lillian Fast Dog, Lenora Fast Dog, Leola White, Willie Jo & Henrietta Longie. Grandfathers: Clifford Broken Leg, Patrick Fast Dog, Tino White. Great Grandmothers: Sally Cavanaugh, Winona Fox,Virginia Lancolatta and Evangeline White. Great-Grandfather: Christopher Alberts. Uncles: Shawn Fast Dog, Emery Bear Heels, Elmer, Kyle, & Kris White. Aunties: Alisen & Kirsten Bear Heels, Krystel, Kathy, Kristy & Denise White. A One night wake begins at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July11 at the Okreek School at Okreek, SD. Traditional Lakota Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 12 at the Okreek School. Christian Prayers will be offered by Deacon George Medicine Eagle. Burial will follow at the Grace Chapel Episcopal Cemetery at Soldier Creek.
