Herman N. Slides Off, Jr., of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Herman is survived by four brothers: Myron Slides Off, Sr. of Dupree, Jerome (Darcy) Slides Off, Lowell Slides Off and Randy Slides Off of Eagle Butte. One sister: Raejean Slides Off of Eagle Butte. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 5 – 7 PM, at Rooks & Red Dog Funeral Home. A one night wake will begin at 4 PM, Sunday, July 20 at the Old Agency Building At Eagle Butte with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 21, at the Old Agency Building with the Rev. Norman Blue Coat officiating. Burial will follow at the UCC Community Cemetery at Green Grass, SD.
