Irvin Paul Vance, age 54, of Cherry Creek, SD, entered the Spirit World on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Avalon Valley Hospice, Salt Lake City, UT He is survived his father, Johnny Lopez, Pierre, SD; five brothers: Myron Benoist and Galen Vance of Salt Lake City, Donovan Sprague of Rapid City, SD, Steve Vance of Takini, SD and Terry Bach of Sioux Falls, SD. Three sisters: Jewel Vance of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Vonda Long of Takini and Diane Benoist of Eagle Butte, SD. A special friend, Lorraine Tracke, of Rapid City, SD. A Traditional Lakota Service will be held from 11:00 AM til 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Steve Vance Residence at Takini, SD. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 PM, Saturday, at the Blue Gym at Cherry Creek, SD. Burial of Cremains will take place at a later date.
