Jeffrey Lyman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeff Lyman, age 48, surrounded by his family at his home in Gillette, WY., entered the Spirit World on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. His passing was due to complications from Injuries he sustained on the job at Black Thunder Mine in November 2013, where he worked as a Welder/Fabricator. After years of fighting to come back from his injuries he finally succumbed and joined his Parents Franklin and Edna Lyman and one older brother Frankie Lyman in rest. Jeff married Candace Fiddler of Eagle Butte, SD at Presho, Utah in 1991. To this union were born three children: Brandon, Ashley, and Leah. Jeff loved Hunting and Fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his three children: Brandon and Ashley Lyman of Gillette Wy. and Leah Lyman of Pierre SD., two granddaughters and four older sister, Deborah Hunter and Vickie Homan both of CA. Melody Andres and Lisa Hughes of AZ. Three older brothers David Lyman of Fl. And Steve Lyman and Donald Lyman of CA. Including many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am., Thursday, March 7th at the Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 W.5th St. Viewing will start at 10 am. A second funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Rooks Funeral Home in Eagle Butte, SD. Burial will follow at the Bordeaux Family Cemetery in LaPlante, SD. Memorial contribution for Jeff Lyman can be made in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel 210 W.
