Mark A. Aungie Sr.

August 12, 1980 - October 25, 2018

Mark A. Aungie, Sr., age 38, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Cheyenne River Health Center at Eagle Butte. Mark is survived by two sons, Mark Aungie, Jr., and Whitney Aungie of Eagle Butte; three daughters: Tiahna Aungie, Thailia Aungie and Khloe Aungie all of Eagle Butte. His father, Anthony Aungie of Wagner, SD; two sisters, Lisa Aungie and Antoinette Aungie of Eagle Butte. A one-night wake will begin at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Mother Margaret Watson officiating. Burial will follow at the Eagle Butte Community Cemetery. Burial with Law Enforcement honors will be provided by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Police Department. Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte is honored to be of service to the Mark Aungie, Sr. Family.
