LaPlante, age 63, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his home in Eagle Butte. Charlie is survived by his life companion, Carson Mound of Eagle Butte, two daughters: Quana Roland, San Antonio, TX, Emma Twiggs, Highmore, SD. One brother, Kenton LaPlante, Eagle Butte and sister, Calla Morton, Jasper, TX. In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for mortuary care, a private funeral service for family only will be begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Rooks Funeral Home in Eagle Butte.
